Wedding photography for couples who want to feel comfortable, have fun, and love their photos.
Hi, I’m Heather Moss Brady.
I’m a North Carolina based wedding photographer, and my job goes way beyond taking photos.
I help people feel comfortable in front of the camera, keep wedding days running smoothly when things get chaotic, and make sure you actually get to enjoy your day.
Almost every couple I speak with tells me some version of: “I’m awkward in photos.”
That’s completely normal. You’re not supposed to know what to do in front of a camera—you’re supposed to be getting married to the love of your life.
My job is to guide you when it helps, keep things easy when they don’t need to be complicated, and step back so everything can unfold naturally.
What it’s like to work with me
From the moment we start planning, I’m in your corner.
I’ll help you build a timeline that actually makes sense for your day, keep things on track when weddings inevitably run a little sideways, and make sure portrait time feels easy instead of stressful or boring.
On your wedding day, I’m part photographer, part calm presence, part “we’ve got this” energy.
I’ve stepped in to fix last-minute emergencies, kept groomsmen on track, and helped couples reset when things felt overwhelming.
And through all of it, you’ll still have space to just enjoy your people.
The photos
Your gallery will feel like your wedding looked and felt: joyful, full of movement, emotional without being forced, and grounded in real connection.
Not overly posed. Not overly directed. Just you, your people, and the day as it actually unfolded.
Who I work best with
This is a great fit if you want:
- a photographer who helps you feel comfortable
- a wedding day that feels fun and relaxed
- guidance when you need it, space when you don’t
- someone who can handle chaos
- photos that feel natural, warm, and genuinely you
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
Let’s talk about your wedding day.
